Winter Council Meeting and Day at the Capitol

February 23-24, 2020

Event Details:

Sunday, February 23, Salem Convention Center, 200 Commercial St SE (Croisan B). The Oregon ACS Council meeting will be held as well as interviews for FACS Candidates. A social hour and dinner follows in the evening with an invited speaker. (Park under hotel).

Monday February 24, Oregon State Capitol (Rm 162).  Legislators and lobbyists will update our group and engage in dialog about regulatory issues. In the afternoon, attendees can book meetings to visit with their legislators. (Street parking along State and Court Street with e-meters).

The event is FREE due to a grant from the American College of Surgeons State Affairs Department.

Noon - 4:00 pm -  ACS Council Meeting (sandwiches will be served at noon)
4:00 -  6:00 pm - FACS Candidate Interviews (3 members per candidate):

11:00 on - Visits with state legislators (by appointment). Please inform the ACS office if you are able to attend a meeting with your legislator and who they are.
